Zalando partners with Les Deux: A milestone for Danish fashion

It is well-documented on dontt.dk how Les Deux has evolved from a niche collection to becoming one of Scandinavia’s largest fashion brands. Now, the Danish brand is writing an important new chapter. Together with the Berlin-based giant Zalando, which boasts 50 million active customers across 25 markets, they have developed and curated a limited-edition collection, exclusively available on their platforms.

Mathias Jensen, Les Deux & Fabio Baum, Zalando
The collection marks Les Deux’s first unisex collection, blending All-American Preppy with slouchy streetwear. It features a nylon varsity jacket, a knit vest, and a denim set – and for the first time, parts of the collection are also designed for children.
This is Les Deux’s second collection in collaboration with Yale University, following the first, which sold out quickly. The prints are inspired by the university’s iconic visual identity, featuring hollow typography, graphics, Yale’s legendary bulldog mascot, and timeless references like pinstripes that enhance the vintage and sporty look. Collaboration is part of Zalando’s DNA
We begin with Mathias H. Jensen, Creative Director at Les Deux, who has been part of the brand from the very beginning. He tells dontt.dk:
“Preppy and street are at the core of our brand’s DNA, so this collection explores the history of exactly that. Yale has been a foundation for the original collegiate style, and we wanted to combine the authentic American look with the relaxed ’90s streetwear cuts.
This is a collection that I believe deserves the stage Zalando can provide as a major international platform, and we are excited to see how their audience receives it.”


Fabio Baum, CEO for Northern Europe and Benelux at Zalando, adds:
