The Copenhagen-based lifestyle venture studio Twelve50Five strengthens its team with the appointment of Nicolaj Jessen, who takes on the role of Product Director and partner. Previously, he played a key role at the fashion brand Les Deux.

With Nicolaj’s appointment, Twelve50Five further solidifies the ambitious goals the company has previously announced. In short, they invest in lifestyle companies and either own or are invested in four brands, including the hyped footwear brand Vinnys. Behind the company is Malte Kamp Videbæk, who has previously worked at Magasin and served as Purchasing Director at Boozt.

International network

The new Product Director brings extensive experience from the fashion industry, having worked at Norse Projects, 66 North, and most recently, Les Deux. At the latter, he was responsible for the brand’s production department and played a key role in making Les Deux one of Denmark’s greatest fashion successes.

With several years of experience in production and sourcing – including two years in China – Nicolaj has built a strong international network and a hands-on understanding of everything from design to delivery.

Nicolaj says:

At Twelve50Five, he will oversee a new production vertical that will ensure both the company’s own brands and external clients can bring their creative visions to life. From design and sourcing to production and packaging, he will ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
