Mathias Zanka merges football and style in Coca-Cola collab

Even as Denmark’s qualification for this summer’s FIFA World Cup remains uncertain, the global build-up is already underway. One of football’s biggest partners, Coca-Cola, is getting in on the action.
In Denmark, the brand has teamed up with former national team defender and FCK stalwart Mathias “Zanka” Jørgensen. Long regarded as an understated style icon, Zanka has now ventured into design with a collaborative jersey.
The result is a limited-edition football shirt, conceived and designed by Zanka himself – a piece we can now reveal ahead of its official launch in February.

“We’re kicking off the 2026 World Cup by celebrating football as more than just a sport”
The jersey draws inspiration from Danish football culture, streetwear, and the sense of community both Coca-Cola and Zanka embody. Its design blends classic sporting references with a contemporary cut and graphic details, making it as at home in the stands as it is on the streets.
Mathias Zanka Jørgensen explains:
“It felt like a natural fit when Coca-Cola asked me to design a jersey for the World Cup. For me, it’s a merging of two worlds – football and fashion – which have grown ever closer in recent years, but have always played a central role in my life.”
Bernadette Mortensen, Marketing Manager for Coca-Cola Denmark, adds:
“For Coca-Cola, this collaboration is a natural extension of our long-standing relationship with football and youth culture. We’re kicking off the 2026 World Cup by celebrating football as more than just a sport. Football holds a very special place for Danes, and today it’s also about culture, creativity, and fashion – both globally and at home.
We’re proud to do this alongside Mathias Zanka, who perfectly represents this intersection and is an ideal partner for Coca-Cola as we invite Danes into an exciting football year ahead.”

Copenhagen event
The Zanka jersey will be released in a very limited edition and will only be available via a QR-code competition on the new 0.5 L Coca-Cola cans, as well as at the “Street Service” event on January 27th, from 5 pm to 9 pm at Løngangsstræde 20 in Copenhagen. The event is open to all, with an age restriction of 18+.
